As we begin a new year, and my fifth in writing this blog, I want to again give you an overview of how I’ve been posting as a quick guide.
- Mission Mondays: Every Monday, I write something about life on mission. This is to encourage both those actively serving in full-time ministry or cross-cultural service and also for those committed to living a mission-focused lifestyle or supporting those in mission service.
- Wednesday Wisdom: These are more general posts for anyone seeking to grow in their journey of faith or just trying to better understand what life in Christ looks like. I use quotes from great writers or Scripture to focus on a specific topic.
- Friday Focus: I have used these as a deep-dive into specific scripture passages to help us grow in our spiritual life. The last several months have been centered on the words of Christ from John’s gospel. This will continue for a while yet.
As you can see, I regularly publish posts three times a week. There is the occasional anomaly, which is usually related to my grief journey or world events.
If you have a specific interest, there are several tabs on my blogs, such as those above, where you can find all past posts. Feel free to browse, and always share your thoughts on anything I write along with sharing with a friend.
I look forward to hearing from you, as we journey together to live life on mission, find purpose through pain, and focus through chaos.
Grace and Peace

Thank you, thank you, thank you! I am so grateful for the words, thoughts, stories, memories, insights, joys and challenges you share with us through your blog. I almost always have a response I’d like to share, a question or comment or some other way I’d like to continue the conversation…yet I rarely have time or remember to do so! Nevertheless, I am looking forward to another year of walking with you from afar. Journey strong!
Thank you, dear Blythe. I’m always ready to talk with you! May the Lord bless you and your dear family in this new year. Blessings
