Going First

Written: Nov 28, 2015

I had an interesting thought this morning during my quiet time with the Lord. I thought: “Raouf is always leaving me to pack up and join him later!” When he had to leave Egypt and went to the States, I packed the house and saw the boys through the end of the school year and then traveled alone with them and the dog to join him in the USA. I almost didn’t get out of Egypt, actually, because they wanted to make sure at the airport that my husband knew I was leaving the country! So, here I am again, seeing the boys through school and who knows what else, waiting to get permission to join Raouf once again in a new, much better country. I’m sure he’s helping Jesus prepare a place for me if he can! Sweet thought for a hard day.
