Two souls sat at lunch today who have been touched by a mutual grief. Few words had to be exchanged for understanding to be found. One of the beautiful things we agreed on as we shared our similar stories was that we are both blessed to have been loved by great men and to have spent so many long years with them. We also encouraged each other to be strong, as our men would want us to be. We both were a wonder at how the Lord brought us together and led us to be instant friends…who were we to know that a year later we would be sitting across from each other with tears in our eyes. I’ll miss you Candy Clifford.
