What’s Next?

Today, Nermine was helping me finish translating the last of Raouf’s journal notes for the book I’m writing. The majority of the entries of the past 25 years were stories of each person he led to the Lord and the circumstances of their conversion. However, the last entry, written in 2012 said:

I asked the congregation of the Arabic Baptist Church in Murfreesboro to write down their prayers, because when their prayers are answered, their faith grows. It’s been 10 years since the last time I wrote in this book. Today, I opened this book again and, with many tears, I realized how faithful God has been in the life of His children.

Nermine said: “I want to read the rest of the story!” I told her, “You are the rest of the story, just like each person about whom Raouf wrote and prayed in this book!” She replied: “We should all be writing in books like Pastor Raouf did.”

Oh, how I agree.

Grace and Peace

    1. Very little, because he was too BUSY in Tunis! 🙂 However, I do have some lovely things from other writing about that time…you’ll see it in the Book to come!
